Ro-Ro Stowage planning
Autoload SPS Ro-Ro offers comprehensive graphical control of the ship's loading throughout the complete voyage. With Autoload SPS Ro-Ro, load cargo to decks using either a simple drag-and-drop method or via well-organized dialogues.
Autoload SPS Ro-Ro includes two modules: a ro-ro loading module and our Autoload Stability hydrostatics engine.
Ro-Ro Module and Cargo Loading
This software is used to develop preliminary and final stowage plans. The SPS Ro-Ro general user interface includes a Booking List, the Deck Plan Overall window, and a well-organized system of toolbars and menus. In addition, you can call the Space Plan window and use it to view different representations of used and available space within a deck, a cargo category, or within the entire vessel. The Deckplan Overall window allow you to select any number of decks for viewing. An extremely powerful tool is included that lets you easily locate any portion of a deck, and then zoom in with virtually no resolution limitations.
Bookings can be added to, edited or deleted from the booking list. The booking list can interface with your proprietary booking system. The interface with the hydrostatics engine allows instant checking of hydrostatic and stability ship characteristics.
You can load cargo to a given deck using user-defined rules - for example, orientation of cargo (faceing to port, starboard, bow or stern), and starting position of multi-unit stows (such as a booking of 500 cars). You can also load bookings individually, or group bookings onto a bolster, roll trailer or container - and then load as single unit. User-defined colours allow cargo to be identified by load port, discharge port or cargo type. If your vessel is also using the container stowage plan module, then footprints of all cargo types already stowed will clearly be shown in the other module, thus ensuring no space conflicts throughout the voyage.
The hydrostatic module enables vessel operators to perform trim, stability and strenght calculations for any load condition in port and at sea. The main window shows profile, plan and body plan views of the ship in the loaded condition, as well as calculated hydrostatic values. The Hydrostatic module calculates stability as fuel and consumables are used, makes use of optimal ballast, and evaluates strength and stability in intact, damaged or grounded conditions. A comparison of the vessel condition can be made against preset strength and stability limits. All calculation results are derived from first principles, which means that the results are accurate at any displacement and at any angle of trim or heel.

SPS Ro-Ro can include an interface with tank and draft sensors.
This interface allows real time monitoring of tank loading and
drafts. Sensor connections can be taken offline in case of reading
errors, or if the program operator wishes to simulate "what-if"
The Ro-Ro module reports include single and overall deck plans, booking lists, DAGO summaries, and other reports as may be required by the user. All reports are made using a single report generator in which you select the information you wish displayed, which presents a much simpler report interface for the user.
